Quite a Send-off

Balloons and a Large Clapboard
I had quite a send-off from the BP team. The invite to my goodbye dinner said, "Our movie star is leaving," so they had a red carpet, a star with my name on it, balloons and a large clapboard at the restaurant.

I had asked them not to do anything, but since they went to all this trouble, I decided to embrace the moment and wear my red feather boa. Even the VP of the program got into the spirit of the event and wore the extra boa I brought.
Holly, Lauren and Shelly
Before I left, I asked the VP for a performance appraisal because I thought he was in a good position to provide me feedback on how to improve. Basically, he said, "Be Holly, and if you ever find yourself in a position where just being you isn't accepted or appreciated, find somewhere else to go." I really like this man and it was hard to say goodbye to everyone. Sunday, it's North to Alaska!
